CNC Bending

CNC Bending systems allow complex bending of both thin and thick metals. The CNC equipment automatically bends as required, delivering highly accurate and consistent bent work. CNC bending shapes sheet metal to various angles, with multiple bends producing complex 3D shapes. We are able to build brackets and other items using these techniques.

CNC Bending Capabilities

Maloya has the capability of bending metals up to 12 feet in length. Materials include steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, high temperature alloys and others.

With 220 tons of bending force and 8-axis CNC controlled back gauges, MLI can bend a variety of small and large parts in both thin and thick metals. Our state-of-the-art 8-axis back gauging allows multipoint banking to support complex bending geometry.

Bend geometry is qualified prior to production via 3D CAD simulation.

  • 4ft. long in .500" (1/2") stainless steel stainless alloys,
  • 6ft. long in .500" (1/2") steel & steel alloys,
  • 6ft. long in .375" (3/8") stainless steel stainless alloys,
  • 8ft. long in .375" (3/8") steel & steel alloys
  • 12ft. long in .312" (5/16") steel, stainless steel & alloys
  • 12ft. long in all thicknesses less than .312" (5/16") and in all metals

At Maloya, we have strict procedures and guidelines in place to ensure that our experienced metal workers know exactly how your project should be done, and to produce your work consistently. When dealing with bending projects, our technology helps ensure consistent and accurate results.

• Our automated nesting software reduces your material costs by maximizing raw material yields;
• Our use of customer CAD files streamlines the manufacturing process. We have the latest versions of AutoCAD, Solidworks, Bysoft and Mastercam. We can also import and work with CAD data from virtually any software program;
• With our 3D modeling capabilities, we can verify fit, form and function of your parts or assemblies before they are produced.

Our MieTrak production planning software ensures on-time delivery by monitoring your job from start to finish. It provides accurate costs and immediate order status throughout production.
