Metal Fabrication for Process Machinery

Making high-speed processing equipment and fully automated machinery requires the highest standards of speed and accuracy. While other fabricators may attempt these projects, without the proper equipment, technology and experience, you will not get the results you seek. Indeed, meeting the high demands of metal fabrication for process machinery is a challenge for those without specialized technologies. Fortunately, Maloya is equipped to handle this task.

Have You Experienced Delays in Metal Fabrication for Process Machinery?

Often we hear of situations where clients had engaged other machining shops, only to find long delays, high failure rates or even jobs never completed. The reality is that many companies are not equipped to produce this work and, try as they might, they cannot succeed without the proper technology.

Avoid Delays and Costly Overruns by Working with Maloya

Maloya is one of the leading fabricators of metal parts, sheet metal components and fabricated assemblies for Process Equipment and Machinery manufacturers. With 50+ years of manufacturing experience, we combine old-world dedication with state-of-the-art technology.

One of the first companies to bring high power clean cutting laser processing to the USA, Maloya produces precision parts and sheet metal components for all types of machinery, from food processing to pharmaceutical packaging. We have extensive experience with cutting and forming stainless steel sheet and plate with brushed (#4) cosmetic finishes.

Maloya's Metal Fabrication Systems

Laser cutting allows us to fabricate precision components with very close tolerances. Our 3000 and 4000 watt laser systems provide proven advantages over conventional metal fabrication methods. With large cutting tables (up to 78" X 157") and cutting capabilities from .010" thick to .750" thick, we can meet virtually all needs. Further, we have the capability of laser cutting round, square and rectangular tubing. Alternating cutting tables and automated sheet loading eliminates downtime during production runs, thereby reducing both cost and lead-time.

As you learn about Maloya and experience our services, you will begin to understand how we are unique in the space. We employ a wide range of techniques and methods, including cross-technology methods that allow us to do things with metal you may not find elsewhere.

Our engineers truly embrace each project, ensuring you get the quality you deserve, and giving you the confidence to create larger and more complex projects in the future.

Prototypes and Short Runs

We can fabricate prototypes and short runs with minimum setup times and virtually no tooling costs:

  • Save material by optimizing yields in sheet, plate and tubing;
  • Cut any conceivable contour in flat metals without tooling costs;
  • Allow for quick, easy re-designing or changing of parts by modifying existing CAD files.

Fabricated Parts from a Single Source

Maloya offers extensive resources and secondary operations to complete your job under one roof:

  • Welding – We use MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminum;
  • Inventory– We have an extensive materials inventory, helping to reduce lead-time.
  • Bending – With up to 220 tons and full 8 axis CNC equipment, we can bend a wide variety of small and large parts in both thin and thick metals, up to 12 feet in length;
  • Finishing – We use vibratory deburring, tumbling, graining and buffing;
  • Quality – CMM and calibrated inspection tools. Our system operates according to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Machining – We employ CNC machining and a full complement of conventional equipment and tooling;

Take Advantage of Our Technology to Save Time and Money

Maloya invests heavily in the latest equipment and technology, ensuring we have the ability to do things "the right way" and not haphazardly using older tools and technologies. Very often the combination of various technologies at our disposal will allow you to do things you had not even envisioned previously. Speak with one of our engineers before your next project and learn exactly what you can do.

The process becomes more efficient:

  • Use our automated nesting software to reduce your material costs by maximizing raw material yields;
  • Integrate your CAD files to streamline the manufacturing process, with the latest versions of AutoCAD, Solid Works, Bysoft and Mastercam;
  • Model with our 3D modeling capabilities - verify fit, form and function of your parts or light assemblies, prior to manufacturing.

Our MieTrak production planning software ensures on-time delivery by monitoring your job from start to finish. It provides accurate costs and immediate order status throughout production.
