Ornamental metal fabrication projects are some of the most interesting projects we have the opportunity to create. To be able to handle projects such as these, you need to work with a company that has specialized laser cutting technologies, bending capacities and the ability to work on both large and small projects.
Beyond the scope of the traditional metal shop, ornamental metal projects place increased demands on your metal manufacturer. With hundreds (or thousands) of laser cuts, large scale materials, requirements for smooth cut edges and more, ornamental projects demand expertise.
Ornamental projects are particularly challenging, requiring the user of 3D software, with product being created with a combination of technologies to do the cutting, bending, forming, welding and finishing to achieve your design. Fortunately, Maloya offers all of these services under one roof.
One of the things that differentiate Maloya from its competition is Maloya's ability to appreciate your end goals. We are able to work with your vision and desired end-use, and to help you identify both the means and the methods of achieving your goals in a more practical way. For example, designs that appear strong in CAD may not fabricate within your guidelines. Small opportunities for change we identify can, with your approval, improve the integrity of the work and ensure we can build it to your satisfaction.
Our ability to handle limited run or one-of-a-kind projects sets us apart. Our portfolio of successfully completed ornamental projects is extensive, from metal sculptures and decorative consumer products, to signage, chairs, seating and fencing.
We are extremely proud to have assisted in major design projects through manufacturing feasibility and value engineering. We fabricated and delivered sections of the 911 Pentagon Memorial, including the lightbox access panels and associated structural work. Maloya is fully capable of working with original metal works of art of virtually any type, and we can digitize customer-initiated tracings, templates and samples.
At Maloya, we have strict procedures and guidelines in place to ensure that our experienced metalworkers know exactly how to execute your project, and do the work consistently.
Laser cutting allows us to fabricate precision components to extremely close tolerances. Our 3000 and 4000 watt laser systems provide proven advantages over conventional metal fabrication methods. With large cutting tables (up to 78" X 157") and cutting capabilities from .010" thick to .750" thick, we can meet virtually all needs.
Further, we have the capability of laser cutting round, square and rectangular tubing. Alternating cutting tables eliminates downtime during production runs, thereby reducing both cost and lead-time.
We can fabricate prototypes with minimum setup times and virtually no tooling costs. This saves material by optimizing yields in sheet, plate and tubing.
In addition, our laser cutting technology:
We invite you to call us today to speak with one of our talented engineers, who can help assess your project and share information with you that you need. Whether you are dealing with a small scale ornamental metal project or a massive metal sculpture, Maloya is ready to help.
